General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Article 1 — Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) govern all product sales made by France Detailing SASU (hereinafter "the Seller") via the website alloygator.fr (hereinafter "the Site") to any natural or legal person (hereinafter "the Customer") wishing to make a purchase.
Article 2 — Products and Prices
The products sold are described as accurately as possible on the Site. Photographs are for illustrative purposes only and have no contractual value. Prices are shown in euros, inclusive of all taxes (French VAT at the applicable rate), excluding delivery charges.
France Detailing SASU reserves the right to modify its prices at any time; products will be invoiced based on the rates in force at the time the order is confirmed.
Article 3 — Ordering
The Customer places an order online by following the checkout steps provided on the Site. Final confirmation of the basket constitutes irrevocable acceptance of these T&Cs. A confirmation email summarising the order is sent to the Customer at the address provided.
Article 4 — Payment
Payment is made at the time of ordering by credit or debit card (via a secure payment provider), bank transfer, or any other payment method offered on the Site. The order is only confirmed and dispatched upon receipt of full payment.
Article 5 — Delivery
Products are dispatched to the address provided by the Customer within 24–48 working hours for mainland France. Carrier delivery times are additional (generally 1 to 3 working days depending on the delivery method). France Detailing SASU accepts no liability for any delay attributable to the carrier or to circumstances beyond its control.
Article 6 — Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer acting as a consumer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to provide any reason or pay any penalty. Products must be returned in their original packaging, in perfect condition and complete. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the Customer.
In accordance with Article L.221-21 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may exercise their right of withdrawal directly online using the "Withdraw from contract here" function, accessible from their customer account (under My Orders) throughout the entire withdrawal period. An acknowledgement of receipt of their request will then be sent to them without delay on a durable medium (email). The Customer may also notify their decision via the Contact us, stating their order number. If the order has not yet been dispatched, it will be cancelled and fully refunded; once the parcel has been dispatched, the shipment can no longer be stopped: the Customer will receive the product and must return it to complete their withdrawal.
"Delivery Insurance" option (8 € inc. VAT). At the time of payment, the Customer may subscribe to the optional "Delivery Insurance" add-on. On a commercial basis, this extends the return period to 30 days from receipt (instead of the statutory 14 days) and includes the provision of a prepaid return label (return costs are then covered by the Seller), priority dispatch and priority handling of transport damage claims. This option does not cover products that have been used, assembled or damaged after receipt, which remain non-refundable.
Commercial return between 14 and 60 days. Beyond the statutory 14-day period (and independently of the option above), AlloyGator accepts, on a purely commercial basis, returns up to 60 days after receipt, subject to a 40% deduction on the value of the refunded goods (return costs are the Customer's responsibility). Beyond 60 days, no return is accepted outside of warranty.
Reservations upon receipt. In the event of a damaged parcel or missing item, the Customer must record written and precise reservations on the carrier's delivery note at the time of delivery, then notify the Seller with supporting photographs within 3 days. In the absence of reservations on the delivery note, or after this period has elapsed, the damage cannot be covered.
Article 7 — Warranty
AlloyGator products benefit from a statutory 2-year conformity warranty (Articles L.217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) as well as the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code). An extended commercial warranty of 24 months applies when fitting is carried out by a 5-star certified approved fitter within the AlloyGator France network.
Article 8 — Personal Data
The data collected in the context of an order is necessary for its processing. It is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Article 9 — Disputes
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought before any legal action is taken. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts.
In accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer may use the MEDICYS mediation service free of charge (www.medicys.fr).
